01 · Packaging System Overview

Plan the Complete Paper Packaging System, Not Only One Box

Fragrance packaging often combines several paper-based components. We review how the outer box, insert, printed accessories, retail presentation and shipping protection work together while keeping the bottle and fragrance-product responsibilities clear.

Primary Package Interface

The buyer supplies the bottle, pump, cap and filled product specifications. HS reviews dimensions, weight, closure clearance and the paper packaging interface.

Secondary Paper Packaging

Folding cartons, rigid setup boxes, sleeves and fitted inserts support protection, printed information and shelf presentation.

Retail Packaging

Labels, stickers, paper bags and shelf-ready cartons help coordinate a fragrance line across stores, launches and seasonal programs.

Gift & Presentation Packaging

Rigid gift boxes, multi-piece inserts, printed cards and coordinated accessories support premium sets, PR kits and discovery collections.

Shipping & Protection

Corrugated outer packaging, insert retention, master-carton planning and export packing are reviewed around product weight and route.

Brand Accessories

Ordinary printed cards, hang tags, labels, tissue, sleeves and paper bags can be coordinated by color, artwork and packing sequence.

03 · Materials & Structures

Select Materials Around Structure, Product Weight and Presentation

No paper material should be described as fragrance-barrier material without project evidence. Material selection here covers the confirmed paper packaging structure, print surface, insert fit and shipping role.

Structure Decisions Need the Real Product

Bottle drawings, exact dimensions, cap height, filled weight or physical samples help determine clearance, opening direction, insert depth and outer-carton needs. Fragrance-product compatibility remains a buyer- and project-specific validation.

04 · Printing & Finishing

Coordinate Color, Texture and Premium Finishes Across the Set

Finish choices should be confirmed against the selected paper, artwork, sample and use conditions before mass production.

01

CMYK Printing

For full-color brand graphics, product imagery and multi-color artwork.

02

Pantone References

For important brand colors that require sample comparison across different paper surfaces.

03

Foil Stamping

Metallic or selected foil effects for logos, borders and premium details.

04

Embossing & Debossing

Raised or recessed details for tactile logos, patterns and presentation panels.

05

Spot UV

Targeted gloss contrast for selected graphics, subject to registration and sample approval.

06

Lamination & Specialty Paper

Matte, gloss, soft-touch and textured-paper directions reviewed for surface result and durability.

05 · Fragrance Applications

Packaging for Different Fragrance Products and Sales Formats

These are packaging applications. HS Packfactory does not manufacture or formulate the chemical product inside the package.

Perfume & Eau de Parfum

Folding cartons or rigid boxes with inserts selected around glass protection, cap clearance and retail presentation.

Eau de Toilette

Paperboard cartons, labels and coordinated retail packaging for individual bottles or product families.

Home Fragrance

Paper packaging systems for diffusers, room-scent products and coordinated home-fragrance gift lines.

Candles

Folding cartons, rigid boxes, inserts, labels and retail bags planned around vessel dimensions and product weight.

Gift Sets

Multi-item layouts combining boxes, fitted inserts, printed cards, labels and optional matching paper bags.

Discovery & Sample Sets

Compact paper packaging for sample formats, launch kits, PR programs and SKU collections using buyer-supplied products.

06 · Inserts & Product Protection

Hold, Present and Organize the Product Set

Insert selection depends on bottle shape, filled weight, fragility, display angle, removal direction, surface sensitivity, sustainability goals and the outer box.

  • Paperboard inserts: printed or unprinted folded structures for light-to-medium products.
  • Corrugated inserts: stronger dividers and supports for shipping or heavier sets.
  • Molded pulp: fiber-based cavities where tooling and current product scope apply.
  • Foam or mixed materials: available within existing insert scope when stronger protection or premium display is required.
  • Buyer validation: final fit and compatibility should be approved with the real product or an agreed dummy sample.

07 · Fragrance Cards & Scented Components

A Project-Specific Component, Not a Default Factory Claim

Printed fragrance cards or scent-treated paper components may be incorporated into packaging programs depending on scent-treatment responsibility, sealing method, documentation and project requirements.

Current fact boundary: scent loading, impregnation, spraying, coating, retention, sealed-pouch performance, fragrance sourcing and chemical-compliance scope are not confirmed as HS in-house capabilities. They must be confirmed for each project before quotation or frontend product claims.

Paper Scope We Can Discuss

  • Printed paper card format
  • Shape, hole and ordinary hang-tag construction
  • Artwork, printing and finish
  • Placement inside a paper packaging set

Facts Required Before Scent Claims

  • Fragrance source and treatment responsibility
  • Process, loading and consistency
  • Sealing, retention and migration testing
  • SDS, IFRA and destination-market documents

10 · Sustainability

Use Evidence-Based Paper Packaging Decisions

Paper-based structures can support material-reduction and plastic-reduction goals when protection, fit and shipping performance remain adequate. FSC-related paper options and documents can be checked on request where applicable to the material, production route and project.

Claims should match the exact material, supplier document, company name, valid period and production scope. A recyclable-looking structure should not be presented as automatically certified or universally recyclable.
