Plan the Pallet Pack-Out Sequence Before Approving the Protector

The same protector can behave differently when the packing order changes. Document the sequence from the empty pallet to the completed load: carton pattern, layer pads, vertical protectors, short corner pieces, straps, top pad, stretch wrap, labels and final handling marks.

  1. Record the pallet footprint, carton pattern, layer count and final load height.
  2. Mark overhang, exposed corners and broad surfaces that require a separate protective component.
  3. Add layer pads or top/bottom honeycomb parts where the design calls for them.
  4. Place L/V, round or localized corner components at their intended contact zones.
  5. Apply straps using the intended width, location and tightening process.
